How long have you been CrossFitting? 5 years best choice ever.
What keeps you coming back? There are so many reason why I keeping coming back to CrossFit, but the main reason is they get me and my craziness. I am grateful for my CrossFit Feral family, for giving me a job watching the Kids that I love so much, a place I can call home and a healthy lifestyle. I have meet lots of awesome people the became close friends. Getting trained by the best coaches that’s a win win. Waking up so early morning its not easy, but once I get the there the atmosphere at CrossFit Feral motivates and gets me pump its all worth it.
How did you find CrossFit? 5 years ago I move to Bakersfield from San Pedro, Ca. I was new to town didn’t know anyone, so I would go to the River Walk Park to run. When I notice a boot camp class getting their butt kicked by a bad ass trainer. So for 2 weeks I would watch the class more like stalked them and do the workouts on the top of the hill. One day I approached the class and ask the hot, bad ass trainer Amy Carroll if I can join the group, after kicking my ass twice a week for a couple months. Amy encourage me to try CrossFit and my respond was heck no, but I ended up going and loved it. puked twice,but went back for more. 5 years later still here. And that’s how I found CrossFit best decision ever, gained friends more like a family. Thanks to Carrie, Daniel and Tyler for trusting me making my special juice and giving me job at CrossFit OD now CrossFit Feral
How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle and level of fitness? CrossFit has change my life for the better, I am stronger, fit and have more confidence, at my age I never though I could wear 2 piece bikini, CrossFit has help me to accomplished to have a healthy lifestyle. I Never though I would be able to Lift heavy weight overhead or rope climb, since I am afraid of heights, CrossFit has help me face my fears.
Name one goal/personal achievement that you would like to achieve through CrossFit? One of My goals to be able to improve my Gymnastics skills and add more weight to the bar like Daniel would say. And of course work on my DU.
Any advice for new members? Workouts are different every day and modified to help each athlete achieve his or her goals. The CrossFit lifestyle a combination of diet and exercises is the key to fitness and long term health. The program works for every one. Surround yourself with people who push you to do and be better.
I recommend that you try CrossFit you will not regret it.
